Welcome - Young Passionist

When you return home after an experience like the Passionist Youth Encounter and World Youth Day, others have not had the same experience and will be mystified by what you have been through. The following tips might help you:

1. Keep a journal of the Pilgrimage, starting today, why not record your responses to these:

• How am I feeling about the coming Pilgrimage?
• What am I reading to help me for the Pilgrimage?
• Who are the People I am meeting as I prepare for the Pilgrimage?
• What experiences have I been given you through the Pilgrimage.?
• What are some of the questions and answers that come tome because of the Pilgrimage?

2. Seek out a Prayer Guide or Spiritual Director:

• It can be a great help to seek out someone to listen to you before you go much deeper on this Pilgrimage.
• They will help you find a language that might be new.
• They will help you on your return to make sense of where you have been and what you have experienced.

3. Reading and Praying with the Word of God:

• The Word of God is written for you.
• Take a book of the Scriptures and read it slowly.
• If you need help understanding it, try starting a Scripture programme.
• The Little Rock Scripture booklets are a great help.

4. Meditation

• Meditation can help us be focused as we explore our deeper feelings and experiences.
• From this point we can share with others in ways they might understand.
• Contact a Christian Medication Community for help.

5. My Mission for Life

• All of us have a Vocation, a calling from God.
• How can you blend companionship and mission?
• What is God’s calling for you at this time?
