This is a relatively young suburb
on the outer south east growth
area of Melbourne, in the fastest
growing municipality of Australia.
It’s 30 kms from the city along
the Monash Freeway, and 70 km
to the airport, via 2 freeways.
The suburb today has a very diverse
population with people migrating
from most countries of the world.
The Parish was established in 1980 on lands that were once
farm lands. The Passionists have had pastoral responsibility
of the Parish since July 2008, with the Passionist (Cross and
Passion) Sisters joining them in 2007.
